Hachette Books sent me two more books to review. I guess my review of that horrible How to Set His Thighs on Fire didn't scare them; on the contrary--it seems it has encouraged them to send me more books.
Now. I love books. I really do. I love good, thought provoking, good story-telling, books that either make you laugh or keep you thinking long after you've put them down. Think To Kill a Mocking Bird, the ever-lasting The Alchemist, the different Ten Thousand Lovers, the ground-breaking Flow, Deirdre Bair's fabulous Jung biography, and my current read--Hotel World.
To be fair, I love you, Let's Meet- Adventures in Online Dating by a Virginia Vitzthum, and Dating Up: Dump the Schlump and Find a Quality Man by J. Courtney Sullivan might, in principle, fit in to the category in which the above books comfortably rest. These two might even be really, really good books--in principle, that is. But I'm going to take a wild guess, hedge my bet, and say that probably--not.
However, since I'd like to keep on receiving books (thank you, Candace--I love having books that say Advance Copy!) as well as branch out and perhaps start receiving other books, make up, candles, designer clothes, boots, jewelry, music, small electronics, and high-end goods (which I will gladly feature on Dateology) I'm doing my part and giving these two gems (ahem!) equal opportunity on Dateology's book-review shelf and hereby letting you know, dear dateologers, that these are available for your purchasing if you find yourself so inclined. And when you read them, by all means, do post a review on Dateology--because I--having no plans to read them and sure as fog in San Francisco--am most certainly not going to.
Yours truly,
Datingirl
